What am I going to see??
01.12.2006 - 17.01.2007
My anticipation is killing me. I will be leaving for Peru on December 27, 2006. Besides the ridiculous scenarios flourishing through my head with what I'll see, who I will meet, or what is the meaning of my trip... It will be the first time that I won't have a close friend with me. Not to mention I will be a single, ready to explore the world, ecstatic woman!!! So far... in preperation for my trip, it has cost almost 4,000 dollars, but it covers all tour packages, flights and trains within the country of peru, and tourist guide fees for Machu Pichu/ Cuzco/Aguas Calientes ect... I have been told it is the rainny season and to pack all sorts of light clothing - to warm solid clothing (being that I am traveling to different altitudes and climates). This idea began with a teacher approaching me on a study abroad program.... so there will be other students, yet I can't help but feel sentimental about the fact I will not be spending New Years Eve with any close friends. I should not be such a sappy sapp sapp!! I am going to South America!!! I am sure there will be plenty of interesting people to talk to, more than likely a plethora of conversations or questions flopping out of my mouth the entire time I'm there; it is just somthing... a feeling... you know? I know this trip going to make me grow as a person and have an expirence that will top all others. The count down begins. Peru! Peru! Peru!
P.S. I am currently in California and cannot wait for my eyes to see some different geography, I'll keep you updated on what I've gotten together, packed, or what not!! ~JRS
